My dad and I were listening to this song in the car, and neither of us could decipher the lyrics. It wasn't until weeks later, when Prince appeared on the "Oprah" show, that I finally figured out what they were and told my dad. (I could write a very passionate song about my own love of raspberry sorbet, though.)
