The story:
My brother and I were discussing this song and wondering why the hell this woman would insist her soon-to-be ex-lover should repair her damaged Jeep before he leaves. Isn't it likely he'd just mess it up even more? She's certainly a trusting soul. "Sure thing, honey. I'll run right out there and 'fix' your Jeep real good."
Then we looked up the lyrics and felt like idiots.
