In this state of confusion, you've turned ugly and old

The story:

When I first heard it I thought it didn't sound right but it stuck, the only time I sang it like that was when I was getting some food and my sister was in the kitchen, well she thought I was saying it to her because I said "Oh, hi!" because I really didn't see her and the she slapped me. Now whenever I try to sing it she puts her hand over my mouth and says "Sing that song and you'll have to start sleeping with one eye open."
