The story:
I was driving with my brother when this song came on the radio. I was commenting on how much I loved this song and joined in on the chorus.
To my horror my brother started laughing and I thought it was because I am not the best singer.
He corrected me and I have never lived it down.
I thought the song was about someone who killed a cop and now he was being chased and was asking to be 'woken up' from the nightmare of having commited murder. It makes sense.
Anyway bleh!
