The story:
Ever since I was a young teen, I thought that this Trooper song was sung as "crazy little elves", which I thought was odd because, well, why would the radio be playing a Christmas song in the middle of August?! I didn't realize my mistake until I sang it out in front of my parents and they corrected me. When Trooper played at my hometown several years later, my parents were belting out my misheard lyrics much to my embarassment.
