I was just thinking of this song this morning as it was playing on my iPod. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought she was singing about a woman lover! You're right that you do have to listen pretty closely to actually hear Donna sing "warm-blooded".

This is my favorite lyric I've ever messed up. I thought she actually said "woman lover," and I was shocked that she had the nerve back then to sing about lesbian love. I still think you have to listen closely to hear that she's saying "warm-blooded." Sharing her love with a woman lover, then bringing a wild man back home, now that's a crazy woman!
