The story:
I was watching the movie Spirit of '76 on cable tv and my older brother said "It's S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y. Not Let's get DUI! DUI! They're spelling out the word Saturday. The song is called Saturday Night. Can't you hear it?!"
I had found it peculiar that anyone would want to get a DUI. I thought the Bay City Rollers were encouraging their listeners to rebel against authority by deliberately getting a DUI to protest the drinking laws.
